Zoltan Denes, MD. was born and educated in Europe. He finished his medical school and became a general surgeon in 1975. He practiced in Romania and later in Hungary until he immigrated to the United States in 1987.
After passing his exams and finishing his internship he started to work for a Cardiovascular Surgery group in Los Angeles in 1990. His love for general surgery led him to Harbor UCLA General Surgery Residency program, that he finished in 2001. He moved to the Monterey Peninsula and started to practice in Carmel the same year. In 2016 he moved his state-of-the-art office from Ryan Ranch, to the heart of Monterey on El Dorado Street.
